Yes, you read it right! The very talented and sweet Ashley Skjaveland is our guest speaker for the upcoming June workshop! We are sooo excited that she will be joining us for a week on the board!
After listening to all of your comments on here and other forums about the guest speaker spot, Kristy and I decided we wanted to have a newborn photographer and Ashley was the first person we thought of.
I first “met” her on a popular forum about 3 years ago. And right from the beginning she mesmerized me with her stunning newborn portraits! The way she uses light is just so divine and dreamy! And when it was my turn to photograph my first newborn, who did I turn to for advice? Ashley! She was soooo sweet in helping me and giving me some tips that helped me so much! I am forever grateful to her for taking time out of her busy schedule to lead me in the right direction. =)
Not only does she photograph the most beautiful newborns, she captures the essence of soon-to-be-mothers and the sweet smiles of little ones. Her images will make you stop and smell the roses and to enjoy the little things in life that we tend to overlook! She is truely one of my inspirations, not only with her photographs but also with her eloquent words!
