The Bloom Collective | Details I

Wake up, feed them, dress them, pack lunches, make sure you get them to school on time, entertain little brother, feed him, let the nap time battle begin…and on and on and on until you repeat the same cycle 5 more times that week. Life can seem predictable and often boring (yup i said it), as a mom.

Photography shook this up for me. It was in capturing the details of these seemingly mundane days that I began to see and discover the beauty that is IN my everyday. I love how detail shots always evoke some kind of feeling or emotion in me. Some days you have to search for them, some days they are right before your eyes. But in snapping these beautiful unseen moments throughout my day it has made me more grateful and at peace with the stage of life i’m in. So if you find yourself dissatisfied or bored with your current stage of life, try opening your eyes to the details of your everyday that often go unnoticed. I think you may be surprised by all the beauty that you will uncover.
